Emma Keene is a valued member of Blackwell Short's Litigation Team, assisting solicitors and clients across a broad range of litigation and Public Notary matters.
Emma joined Blackwell Short in 2022 after gaining experience with a leading family law practice in the Central West. Her background in legal administration provided a strong foundation in client service, file management and the processes involved in helping clients navigate complex legal matters.
Working closely with the Litigation Team, Emma assists with a wide variety of matters and plays an important role in supporting both clients and solicitors throughout the course of a matter. She understands that many clients are dealing with unfamiliar legal processes and takes pride in helping them feel informed, supported and confident from their first interaction with the firm.
Emma completed her Advanced Diploma of Paralegal Studies through the University of New England and has recently returned to study to complete her Bachelor of Laws. She enjoys expanding her legal knowledge while continuing to gain practical experience working alongside the firm's solicitors.
Known for her organisation, attention to detail and positive attitude, Emma is committed to delivering exceptional service and contributing to the strong team culture at Blackwell Short.
Outside the office, Emma enjoys playing netball and spending time with family and friends.
