Caitlin Elliott

Caitlin Elliott is a valued member of Blackwell Short's Family Law team, assisting solicitors and clients through what are often some of life's most challenging transitions.

Having grown up in a small farming community in the New England region, Caitlin developed a strong appreciation for family, community and the importance of supporting people through difficult times. These values continue to shape her approach to working with clients and colleagues.

​

Since commencing her legal career in Orange in 2020, Caitlin has gained experience across a range of legal matters while developing a particular interest in family law and Local Court matters. She joined Blackwell Short in 2022 and has recently completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts at the University of New England.

​

As part of the Family Law team, Caitlin assists with matters involving Parenting Arrangements, Property Settlements, Divorce and other Family Law issues. She enjoys helping clients navigate legal processes that can often feel overwhelming and takes pride in contributing to outcomes that help families move forward.

Known for her caring nature, strong work ethic and attention to detail, Caitlin is committed to continuing her professional development as she progresses towards admission as a solicitor.

Outside the office, Caitlin enjoys spending time with family and friends, keeping up with the latest true crime podcasts and spoiling her much-loved fur baby.
