Alexandria Trudgett

Alex is a solicitor who assists individuals, families and business owners across Wills and Estates, Property, Commercial and Family Law matters.

Having grown up in Molong and lived throughout the Central West, Alex understands the unique challenges and opportunities faced by regional communities. She is passionate about helping clients navigate important legal decisions and building strong relationships based on trust, communication and understanding.

Alex graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws in 2020 before commencing her legal career with a rural law firm in Forbes. Following her admission as a solicitor in 2021, she developed experience in Wills and Estates, Estate Administration, Rural Property transactions and Residential Conveyancing.

Before joining Blackwell Short in 2025, Alex broadened her professional experience through roles in employment services and strata management. Working closely with individuals, families and property owners provided valuable insight into the personal, financial and practical issues that often sit behind legal matters. This experience allows her to approach client matters with a well-rounded perspective and a strong focus on communication and service.

At Blackwell Short, Alex works primarily within the Wills and Estates team while also assisting clients with business matters, civil disputes and family law matters. She enjoys helping clients understand their options and guiding them through legal processes that can often feel unfamiliar or overwhelming.
